The best paper authors will be recognized at VDA 2012 with a certificate issued by SPIE. The authors will be invited to submit extended versions of their VDA papers to Information Visualization (IVS). Lead student authors of papers 8294-04, 8294-15, 8294-20, and 8294-24 will also receive a monetary award sponsored by the US Department of Homeland Security. The lead student authors will receive their awards at the conference.
